Refurbished (Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting Compatible) National CRT Television, Black and White TV, Showa Retro

【Product Description】
This is a 14-inch National black and white television manufactured in 1958.
Amidst rapid post-war reconstruction, the first televisions from various domestic manufacturers were born, and regular broadcasting began. With rapid technological advancements, domestic industrial production capacity improved, creating significant demand and leading to high economic growth. Televisions, along with refrigerators and washing machines, became known as the Three Sacred Treasures and eventually became household necessities. This model became an unprecedented hit product due to its nearly doubled cathode ray tube lifespan, innovative design, excellent performance, and affordable price of 73,000 yen. Detachable wooden legs were available as an option.
This unit has been fully serviced by an electronics store for 70,000 yen, with vacuum tubes and other components replaced with new ones (the interior has been thoroughly cleaned as shown in the photos of the manual). Furthermore, it has been adapted for digital terrestrial broadcasting and is fully functional for viewing programs.
The electronics store that performed the servicing also created a manual (pages 1-9 of the instruction manual), allowing for worry-free viewing.
An antenna cord (officially called a coaxial cable, 7m 80cm) and two new batteries (for the remote control) are also included.
We are confident that a black and white television restored to this level of perfection will not be available again.
This listing will be removed soon.
First come, first served.
Items other than the black and white television are not included in the product.
