Okinawa Sanshin Snake Skin Reinforced

This is a traditional Okinawan musical instrument, the Sanshin.
The body wrap (Tigar) is black with a gold Sa Gomon crest.

The peghead is accented with gold.

Standard size (80cm).

There are three types: reinforced skin with a printed snake pattern on artificial leather, reinforced skin with real snake skin layered over fabric, and a single layer of real snake skin.
This is the reinforced type, with two layers of fabric and snake skin.

The single-layer real snake skin is expensive and produces the best sound, but it requires maintenance such as repairs for tears.
Artificial leather is less expensive and maintenance-free, making it easy to handle, although the sound quality is inferior.
This reinforced type offers a good balance, with better sound than artificial leather and easier maintenance compared to the single-layer real snake skin.

Accessories include: 2 picks, 1 string, 1 bridge, 1 mute bridge, 1 spare tuning peg, 1 shoulder strap, 1 string holder, 1 spare cord for the body wrap, 1 tuner, and finger position stickers.
