Sanshin Okinawa Double-Sided Snakeskin Reinforced Double Layer Front Karaku-i 1 String 2 New Strings Replaced

This is a Sanshin that I used for practice, easy to pick up and play.
I don't know when it was made.
I believe the front side of the snake skin is reinforced double-layered.
When touched from the inside with a finger, both the front and back sides have a fabric feel.
The back side is single-layered snake skin.

This is an old Sanshin.
There is a Shishikou sticker on the neck.

One of the tuning pegs has been replaced with a new one.
The middle and female strings were replaced with new ones 3 weeks ago.
I continued to use it for practice until yesterday.

There are scuffs on the snake skin due to age.
There is a small chipped area on the front snake skin.
The material of the neck is not clearly identifiable.
However, the finish is solid, and it is still usable.

The neck has a slight twist in the direction of the male string,
but I believe it's not noticeable when playing.
(This is my personal opinion)
I played it as is until yesterday.
I believe there are minor scuffs on the neck from use.
I don't think there are any cracks or major chips.
No repairs have been made.

One of the three included tuning pegs
is slightly difficult to secure,
but it can be used if tightened firmly.
If it's difficult to secure, please shave it down slightly.
Applying rosin should help it secure better.
If you still find it difficult to secure,
please replace it with a new one.

It's in good condition with no sun fading.

Additionally, a bachi (plectrum) and uma (bridge) are included.

The doumaki (neck wrap) and doumaki himo (cord) have been washed.
The doumaki and cloth case are clean, I believe.
The doumaki himo has some sun fading.

To reduce shipping costs, it will be sent disassembled.
