Description
Okinawan Sanshin - A Blackwood Sanshin with a Sense of Age (460g shaft only). The shape is Magaki-gata, and the pigeon breast carving on the back is also meticulously done. No twists or other issues, in good condition. The chiga (skin) is made of durable artificial leather, making it easy to maintain.
While I cannot definitively judge the quality of the blackwood (ebony) material, the core is very dark, and as you can see in the photos, it might even resemble quail eye patterns!
