Red water buffalo plectrums often have beautiful mixed colors of brown and white, which are not found in black water buffalo.
Some people call it Dutch water buffalo, but since there are no water buffalo in the Netherlands, it seems to be a remnant of when imported goods were referred to as Dutch.
We believe that red water buffalo is a more appropriate term, so we have used it.
