Shakuhachi Bag with Shoulder Strap

Japanese Pattern: Asanoha (Hemp Leaf)

The length and thickness that fit into each shakuhachi bag vary depending on the item.

Length: Approx. 73cm
(Length when not folded)
Width: Approx. 10cm
While I cannot take responsibility, I believe this bag can likely accommodate a diameter of 5cm comfortably and a length of up to about 55cm.

Many shakuhachi are approximately 54cm in length and 5cm in diameter, but I am unsure if this is typical.
I do not own a shakuhachi myself, so I cannot answer questions about whether it will fit.

The gussets at the top and bottom will be adjusted based on the diameter of the shakuhachi.
Even if the overall length of the item is long, if it has a significant diameter, gussets will be created at the top and bottom, making it difficult for some items to fit.
For an idea of the thickness, I have included a photo (5th image) with an unopened mini juice can (approx. 5.2cm diameter) inserted for reference.
Please consider all photos as reference only.
We do not accept returns, custom orders, or complaints, so please only purchase if you are fully satisfied.

We cannot guarantee the extent of color fading or bleeding. Please understand.

Depending on the user, some may untie the strap or pull out the folded top.
Type B shakuhachi bags with shoulder straps will not be produced as they cause issues when worn.

This is a tie-up type using the two straps sewn to the side, as shown in the photo.
Please do not put heavy items in this bag!

This is a handmade item, so please use it gently and with care.
I create these items as a hobby. They do not have the same strength as commercially produced products.
