1 shaku 9 sun pipe (C# pipe)

Thank you for visiting my shop!

#Welcome to Tonkichi's Shop

This is a listing for a 1 shaku 9 sun shakuhachi.
This shakuhachi is a transposed instrument that is one semitone lower than a standard 8 sun shakuhachi (D key).
It is often used in enka and other genres to achieve a sharp, characteristic shakuhachi sound during the chorus.

Item for Sale:
Shakuhachi (upper and lower sections)

Manufacturer: Wada Gakki (Kochou)

Specifications:
Purchased new around 1998 from a musical instrument store as a special order.
The price and specifications from that time are shown in Photo 5 and are omitted here.
(Factory-made product by Wada Gakki)

It has been used with care, and no major issues are apparent.
Among the shakuhachi with inscribed lyrics, this was one of my favorite and easiest to play.
Currently, there is some deterioration of the lacquer.
