Description
This is a long bag for a chu-zao (medium-neck) or hoso-zao (thin-neck) shamisen.
It is made from a de-washed bolt of Omeshi kimono fabric. It is clean with no stains.
The pattern is not dyed, but a delicate woven pattern. It has a woven pattern with slightly shimmering threads, reminiscent of Omeshi, and its appearance changes depending on the light. The base color is a deep rose. It has a Tsumugi-like texture.
The lining is made from Shibori nagajuban (under-kimono) fabric. It is from long-term storage and has a retro feel, but it is unused fabric.
Both the outer and inner fabrics are pure silk.
