Bamboo laminated wood, 1 shaku 6 sun, 1 shaku 8 sun

This is a 1 shaku 6 sun shakuhachi made of laminated bamboo. While there are concerns about cracking with bamboo shakuhachi, this laminated bamboo shakuhachi is free from such worries. The utaguchi (mouthpiece) is undamaged, and the pitch is accurate. There is a slight looseness in the joint, so it will be shipped with sealing tape wrapped around it.
