Mr./Ms. [Customer Name] - Premium Tortoiseshell Bachi for Tsugaru Shamisen with Buffalo Horn Handle
62.04 $
Description
Type: Tsugaru Shamisen
Accessories/Parts: Bachi (Plectrum)
This was passed down from my grandmother, and I don't know the specifics, but she played the shamisen for many years.
This is a used bachi, so it has scratches from use, and a name is written on it in white pen, which will need to be sanded off.
The tortoiseshell has a beautiful harmony with the amber-colored parts.
Such tortoiseshell is rare nowadays.
The handle is also believed to be a very valuable single piece of water buffalo horn.
Overall length: 205mm
Opening: 94mm
Weight: 146.4g
I believe I have uploaded images of the scratches and scuffs, but there may be some I have overlooked.
I don't know much about shamisen, so I am looking for buyers who understand that this is a used item.
