This is a MARRYAT MR8 fly reel.
Purchased in 1990, it was mainly used for targeting monster trout in Lake Ashi and Lake Motosu.

There are minor scratches from use, but the rotation is smooth and the drag is in good condition.
There is some discoloration on the drag side due to a long-term tippet holder attachment (please check the photos).
This does not affect actual fishing performance.

The reel comes with the following lines that were used at the time:
- WF-8-F (Floating)
- WF-7-I (Intermediate)
These are old but have no cracks.
*Please consider the lines as a bonus.

MARRYAT MR series reels are currently scarce in circulation,
and the MR8 in particular is a popular model for both practical use and collection.

We ask that only those who understand that this is a used item purchase it.
