For vEmfCu様 Only❦
I enjoyed decorating my Japanese-style room with paintings and tapestries of Japanese musical instruments ✾
The base is made of sturdy wood.
The vertical design, like an obi, is very cool.
A Satsuma biwa is depicted on a silver base with red, black, and gold craftsmanship.
Overall, it is in beautiful condition.
There are some marks left from when I previously attached something with masking tape and then removed it.
*It seems the white coating layer that protects the paint has peeled off.
*This is on the upper right side.
*It's not noticeable at first glance.
This would be wonderful if repaired at a shop that restores screens, etc., or if you repair it yourself, or even if you add gold or silver decorations to arrange it ❦
It is still a very beautiful item.
You could also enjoy displaying it with Hina dolls ◎
My guests have complimented it many times.
This is a rare item.
◆Size: 90 x 30 cm
◆Original Price: Approximately 55,000 yen
[Quoted from the internet about the Satsuma Biwa]
It originated in the Satsuma region (Kagoshima Prefecture) during the Sengoku period, with the aim of teaching samurai culture and ways of life through biwa performance. Many of the themes were battle stories, characterized by heroic expressions, but in the late Edo period, when peaceful times continued, it also spread among townspeople.
Thank you for looking.
