Balmain Homme 16SS Look 47 Parachute Pants

These are Balmain Homme's 16SS season parachute pants.
These pants were used in Look 47 of the 16SS collection, and a similar pair made of a different material was used in Look 26.

These pants are made from the high-quality sweat material that was popular at the time, making them easy to wear daily and creating a unique voluminous silhouette.

Given the limited number of Balmain items imported into Japan during that period, this is likely a rare model. Items from the 2010s are being re-evaluated as archival pieces, particularly overseas, so this might be a great find for those looking for pieces from that era.

While the parachute design is eye-catching, the multi-layered pocket design, deep crotch reminiscent of sarouel pants, and tapered silhouette are the defining features of this item.
This piece embodies the era when luxury brands emphasized opulence. Despite being made of sweat material for a relaxed feel, the quality of construction clearly marks it as a luxurious item.

They have been worn about 5 times, but there are some discolored areas, possibly due to age-related degradation of the dye. The last image shows the affected area.
