This is an authentic 13-string koto, model Shosui, from Fukuyama, a traditional production area designated by the Minister of International Trade and Industry.

The body is made of kuri-gao (chestnut wood), and the interior features Ayasugi carving by skilled artisans. The exterior boasts a high-grade beveled edging construction, combining excellent sound, durability, and a dignified appearance.
