◇About Waterproofing---Quechua tents are waterproof tested with 200 liters/square meter/hour of water. While standard waterproofing tests involve water column tests (water resistance pressure tests based on ISO 811), Quechua believes that water resistance pressure tests that only verify the fabric are not suitable for testing tents. Instead, they conduct tests using a shower to verify water leakage from seams, flaps, openings, zippers, etc. Naturally, the fabric used is designed to pass a water resistance pressure test of 1000mm or more (able to withstand normal rain).
