The cases have scratches and dirt due to age and storage, so please consider them as a bonus.
From the Bubb Clean Records website:
——————————————————————-
Due to the nature of magnetic tape, sound quality does not degrade with repeated overwriting, as long as there is no physical damage.
Completely erasing the magnetism allows for recording as if it were new.
While strong magnetic fields are required to erase data from magnetic tape, our shop uses a professional magnetic eraser used in broadcasting stations and other professional settings, allowing for complete erasure of recorded data.
This is a bulk eraser that works without direct contact with the tape, unlike erase heads, so there is virtually no physical impact on the tape.
