◆ Please read the Teikan (general policy) in my profile and the Yakkan (product-specific notes) at the end of this description, as they apply to all my listings.

◇ About 50 years ago, my first cassette deck was the Lo-D D-500, which was rare at the time for having three heads. Hitachi must have been confident in it. The simultaneous recording and playback monitor not only allowed for music recording but also deepened my interest in the specifications of tapes themselves.

◇ After that, I primarily upgraded Lo-D decks, eventually reaching the D-909. However, this one was peculiar... as reviewed online recently, it struggled with metal tapes, unable to suppress the high-frequency boost. For analog record sources, even a mid-range high-position tape was sufficient to tune the sound to be the same as the source. As a result, many metal tapes were left at the trial stage.

■ My apologies for the long preamble, but these are Axia PS series metal tapes, PS-4x 46 and PS-METAL 50.
They have had some CD albums recorded on them, but I estimate the PS-METAL has been played through a deck no more than 20 times in total, considering both the time of recording and current checks for this listing.
On the other hand, the PS-4x is a bit more worn.

★ These have been stored long-term in a dark room indoors. As it's unlikely I'll be using them again, and it seems a shame to throw them away, I'm offering them here. Please consider them.
