[100 Fish Caught - Catch Report]
May 23, 2024 Weather: Cloudy Temperature: 16-24°C Water Temperature: 17°C
I started with my usual #14 standard stretch body parachute fly. I had continuous bites from the first cast, and even after trying other dry flies listed, such as Comparadan, Crystal Body Thorax Dun, and Quilled Body Parachute, the fish were highly active and the continuous biting didn't stop.
By 11 AM, I had already caught 80 fish. By the end of the day, using soft hackle (wet fly) and bead head sinking flies, I managed to catch a total of 102 fish.
On this day, the weather, temperature, water temperature, and fish activity all aligned, making it one of those rare, explosive fishing days unique to stocked trout ponds.
*Hook is barbless.
