Serviced and fully functional Sony TCM-31 monaural cassettecorder

Overview: This is an overly simple monaural tape recorder specialized for voice memos. Due to its poor maintainability in many respects and its rarity, it has become expensive for its features. However, I thought it was a bit too pricey, so I lowered the price for this relisting.

Features:
- Cue & Review (makes a kyuru-kyuru sound)
- Automatic stop at tape end during recording and playback
- External power terminal (3V, outer diameter 3.1mm, inner diameter 1.4mm, center negative. AC-D2M can be used.)

Repair Details: Please refer to images 6, 7, and 8.

Notes:
- This sale is for the main unit only. Please prepare a recording tape and 2 AA batteries separately.
- There are many scuffs and scratches, particularly on the cassette door. Please refer to images 4 and 5.
- I am the only one who has disassembled and cleaned the R/PSW and replaced the idler on this unit. The price was increased considering the effort involved in disassembling and cleaning the R/PSW. I will ignore requests for price reductions unless competitors offering the same model and same maintenance appear. I will gradually lower the price at my discretion, but the minimum will be 3000 yen.
- I do not sell monaural cassette players. If you are looking for a monaural unit, please search for cassette recorder.

Packaging and Shipping: Approximately 250g, over 3cm thick. Will be shipped via YuYu Mercari Plus. (Will change to Mercari delivery after purchase. Your address will only be used to predict arrival times.)
