There is almost no hydrolysis.
If you've used TC Helicon products for a long time, or if you've purchased them used, you've probably experienced the stickiness caused by hydrolysis.
This product has been regularly maintained, and there is absolutely no hydrolysis on the surface and back of the top panel. It has a smooth, non-sticky feel.
One area, around the side knobs, has a slight stickiness due to the fact that cleaning too much can erase the printing, so it hasn't been cleaned as much. The MAX text on the gain knob has almost disappeared, and the MIN text is still visible. The headphone mark on the headphone jack has almost disappeared. Only this area is slightly sticky (see image 4).
The rest of the unit is smooth, so you should be able to transport it in a bag, take it out, and set it up without any stress.
