Ultra Rare! Brent Averill Fairchild 662 Mic Preamp

This is a Brent microphone preamplifier using a FAIRCHILD 662 vintage module, one of only a few in Japan.

This is an extremely rare piece of equipment.
Vintage Brent units are rarely seen on Yahoo Auctions anymore.
This may very well be your last chance to acquire this unit.

The FAIRCHILD 662 has a dark character, but also a very smooth and pleasing sound.
The sound quality is superb.

The prices of equipment, including vintage NEVE, have skyrocketed, making them almost unobtainable.

This is being listed due to personal circumstances.
I am reluctant to part with it, so there is a possibility that I may withdraw the listing at any time.

Thank you for your understanding.

Don't miss this rare opportunity!

Comment from BAE Chief Engineer, Avedis Kifedjan:
The sound of the Fairchild 662 is very unique. I was checking out this module at a friend's house with a few other people, and everyone there was so impressed with the sound that I immediately secured one for myself. The low end is truly rich and thick, with a character that is immediately recognizable. The high end extends beautifully without sounding overly emphasized. As a result, it's a preamp with a slightly dark coloration that's perfect for rounding off the edges of overly bright modern condenser microphones. The DI input also handles a wide range of input levels and provides particularly wonderful nuances for keyboards and drum machines.
