TANGO Vacuum Tube Amplifier CA7/EL34 Junk
224.40 $
Description
This is a considerably vintage, custom-built vacuum tube amplifier.
When I turned on the power, a buzzing noise (likely only from the right channel?) occurred. I suspect a faulty electrolytic capacitor (as the underside was bulging).
I am unable to repair it due to a lack of knowledge, so I am listing it for sale.
Please check the photos, including one of the back cover removed.
This is for those who can perform maintenance and repairs.
The vacuum tubes are 4 x EL34, 4 x 12BH7A, and 4 x 12AX7. The manufacturers are unknown (some have USA and JAPAN markings).
It appears to use one TANGO transformer and two LUXMAN transformers. I am not knowledgeable about the model numbers, so please refer to the images.
The vacuum tubes have not been tested, so there is a possibility they are defective. Please purchase with understanding.
It is quite large and heavy, so please pay for shipping upon delivery. I will pack it securely.
Addendum: I mistakenly uploaded a photo with the vacuum tubes inserted incorrectly. The power was not turned on in that state. I have uploaded additional photos.
Please check the 11th image for size reference.
