【Rare, Power Confirmed】National Vacuum Tube Radio Magic Super BL-280

A profound masterpiece of Showa retro, this is a National (Matsushita Electric) vacuum tube radio, MAGIC-SUPER Model BL-280.
We are listing this item, which we carefully stored, due to organizing our home.

[Condition]
Operation: We confirmed that the unit powers on when plugged into an outlet. The internal lamp lights up, emitting the characteristic warm glow of a vacuum tube radio.
Exterior: There are scratches and dirt due to age, and signs of use on the wooden casing, but this only adds to the depth (character) of this vintage item. The front dials and printing remain relatively clean.
Back: The original nameplate and stickers are still present, giving it a historically evocative appearance.

We confirmed reception of radio broadcasts with this unit! It produces the warm tone characteristic of vacuum tubes.
However, perhaps due to the passage of many years, the **tuning knob is currently stuck at the end (or spins freely)**, making it difficult to change stations.
We would like to offer this to someone who can perform maintenance such as re-stringing the internal mechanism or greasing, or someone who would appreciate it as is, including the enjoyment of repair.
