Fluorine Roller Swing Yo-Yo (Night Fishing Specification)
This is an improved version of our traditional float-type Yaen, designed to accommodate attachments like lights.
If not attached, the balance will be off. For daytime use, please consider attaching a cost-effective glow stick or similar to prevent loss. (We will include a tube that fits both options.)
The hook shape of this product is standard. If you wish to exchange it for the expert shape, please send us a message immediately upon purchase. (Exchange to the expert shape is possible if in stock; please understand if it is sold out.)
(This Yaen may fail if used with the conventional method, so beginners and experienced anglers alike, please be sure to read our profile.)
Weight: Approx. 13g Length: 36cm
Super hard stainless steel 1.2mm
For horse mackerel around 15cm
(Features of the Fluorine Roller Float-Type Yaen)
① When the Yaen reaches the squid, it immediately springs up, even if you are unsure of its arrival.
The advantage is that the squid is more likely to be hooked before it can escape, even if it hasn't dropped the horse mackerel yet, making it easier for beginners to fish. (This is conditional on the squid holding the bait vertically.)
When the Yaen reaches the squid, the main body, acting as the first anchor point, springs up like a float (jumps forward), leaving the second and third anchor points on the fishing line.
Unlike traditional spring-up mechanisms, there is no loss of hook lift. The forward speed, Yaen weight, and water pressure during retrieval all contribute to the spring-up force.
(Once the Yaen reaches the squid, you will retrieve it while keeping the sprung-up state by loosening the line, using it as a three-point Yaen with a Yaen stopper.)
② The large fluorine resin roller provides excellent slipperiness and quiet operation underwater. This makes it less likely to give the squid a sense of discomfort as there is no need to loosen the line and feed the Yaen, and it is effective for offshore hooking due to its speed even without a specific angle.
③ We have custom-shaped the hooks from super hard stainless steel, considering a wide, sharp, and deep hooking range. The barbs are absent (the third hook has barbs).
④ When attaching lights to the Yaen, it can be tight. First, slide the tube onto the Yaen rod, then wet the light attachment (like Mirai) and push it in. (A tight fit prevents it from coming off.)
⑤ Even without a Yaen stopper, once the Yaen reaches the squid, the hook tips will instantly embed into the squid's body, so no setting is required and you can catch fish.
(Notes)
① Hooks may become distorted. Please correct them yourself.
② We apologize, but we cannot accept price reductions or bundled sales.
