The cable and earpads are aftermarket and quite old, so please purchase with the understanding that you will need to replace them.
The headphones themselves produce sound without issue (they work fine when a different cable is used), but the contact at the stereo jack of the cable is poor, so you will need to replace the cable.
The screws used to secure the cable are rusted. (See photo 6)
