25 years after its debut, the SSR-5000 disco mixer is now spoken of as a legendary masterpiece. It utilized the best technology of its time, boasting excellent electrical performance. Above all, it was equipped with functions that allowed DJs to easily perform cutting-edge techniques that captivated them at the time, such as scratching, transformer, quick change, touch-in, and touch-cut sounds. For this reason, the product was also engraved with the nickname WAZA (skill). The emergence of this mixer undoubtedly contributed to the dramatic improvement of DJ culture and even influenced the birth of today's people who are called DJ otaku (DJ enthusiasts).
