Description

This is a top-open resonance tube speaker with a single fold in the Nagaoka style. The port length is 180cm. The unit is a 7cm, 4-ohm full-range speaker.
A resonance tube system utilizes the principle of a pipe organ to enhance bass frequencies.
Since there is almost no back pressure, this system is compatible with a wide range of speaker units.
I have built many resonance tube speakers before, and all of them have produced satisfactory bass.
This speaker also produces bass that is unimaginable for its small unit size. The positioning of the mid and high frequencies is also superb. Additionally, the unit's height is perfectly at ear level when seated on a sofa, making installation easy.
Felt sound-absorbing material is applied to the bottom board. There is no resonance, such as the whooshing sound characteristic of resonance tubes.
Uses 13mm thick plywood.
Dimensions: 91.5cm (H) x 11cm (W) x 13cm (D).
Bottom board dimensions: 16cm (W) x 19cm (D).
