Vintage 1970s Crewel Embroidery Kitchen Stove Textile Art Mustard Folk Art

Wonderful vintage hand-worked crewel embroidery featuring an ornate old-fashioned kitchen stove or range, beautifully detailed with a kettle, curling steam, coal bucket and tools. The rich mustard-gold ground is embroidered in shades of deep green, burnt orange, charcoal, cream and gold for a wonderfully warm 1970s folk-art palette.  The dimensional stitching is especially beautiful in person, with an incredible amount of texture and detail throughout the stove, floral motifs and tiny kitchen accessories.  Approximately 17” x 17” overall based on measurements shown. Unframed textile with stitched/serged raw edges, making it a wonderful candidate for custom framing, mounting or repurposing into a decorative pillow front.
