Description
Linen tea towel features The Comical Hotch Potch, or the ALPHABET turn'd POSTURE MASTER, a reproduction of a historical 18th-century print by Carrington Bowles. The design depicts acrobatic figures contorted into the shapes of letters from A to Z, accompanied by whimsical rhyming couplets and a brief historical note regarding the omission of J and U in early alphabets. Printed on a textured, off-white fabric, this piece serves as both a functional kitchen accessory and a unique wall hanging for those who appreciate Georgian-era humor and typography.
