Vintage Framed Cross Stitch Sampler With Alphabet Flowers Birds And Couple

Charming primitive folk style framed sampler  Perfect for country, farmhouse, primitive, Scandinavian, shabby chic and vintage-inspired decor  This cross stitch sampler features the alphabet and a couple in their finest attire  The woman even has a flower in her bonnet and a basket of flowers in her hand  The entire piece is accented with birds, hearts, flowers and quilt block designs inside a scalloped floral border  Framed under glass in a rich solid wood frame with carved scroll detailing at each corner  The background is the lightest shade of blue and the stitching is done is a colorful palette of blue, yellow, orange, green, brown and red  Measures approx 9” x 11 1/2”  There is an easel stand and a wall hanger on back for easy display  Nice vintage condition with age appropriate wear  This has been in my collection for many years and the colors are still bright and vivid, hasn’t been displayed in direct sunlight  Items are carefully packed in tissue paper, bubble wrap and/or newsprint for secure shipping  Please see all photos as part of the description  GRNB  9/17/26
