The Golden Age Project EQ-81 mk3 is designed based on the EQ section of the vintage NEVE 1081 module. It employs a Class AB circuit similar to the original unit, with the omission of high and low-pass filters.
Its sound character is warm, punchy, and magically musical. The sound of this traditional analog EQ has been used in countless recordings and is widely applicable across various sources and genres. Thanks to the passion of Bo Medin, who leads Golden Age Project, this wonderful analog EQ is now accessible to many.
