This is a handmade cutting board made from a single piece of natural wood with a live edge.

Finished with a smooth feel through 4 stages of sanding: 120, 240, 400, and 1000 grit.

[Edges and Live Edge: Torched]
Torched and brushed finish.
The edges and live edge are prone to absorbing moisture, so torching them improves their resistance to rot, insects, and enhances durability.
Soot is removed with a brush and then polished for a smooth finish.
The torching process adds depth to the live edge, creating a unique character for this one-of-a-kind piece.

[Oil]
Uses tatara water-repellent ceramic multi-oil, which offers excellent water and stain resistance.
It penetrates and hardens within the wood, creating no film and preserving the natural texture of the wood.
Safe to use as it meets food safety standards.
