1973 Timex Electronic, Diver Style, Not A Quartz, Great Britain, Men's, 36mm

For this Timex men's watch, I installed a new G-S crystal from Germany. I cleaned the watch and installed a new battery. This watch runs and keeps time well.  This vintage Timex Electric features a chrome-plated case, a movable ridged bezel, and a brown gradient dial. The date is displayed at 3 o'clock in an angular window. Even the hands are unique. This watch was made in 1973 and the case was made in Great Britain. The movement is not a quartz movement, but a hybrid movement that uses a battery to power a mechanical system including a hairspring. The watch crown is push-pull, and it conserves energy when pulled.  The watch bracelet fits many men's wrists. Without stretching the bracelet, the bracelet is about 6.4 inches around.
