Found in Butte MT. This area had a large Chinese population due to the mining operation in the 1800s. Butte was home to the longest running Chinese restaurant, the “Peking Noodle Parlor”. Features an intricate herringbone split-bamboo woven exterior, a sturdy arched bentwood carrying handle, and a rich, historically accurate lacquered dark red interior. While this single open-top tier no longer includes its original lid or upper stacking layers, it makes a stunning standalone decorative piece. It is perfect for displaying dried botanicals, holding a potted houseplant, or using as unique catch-all storage in a living room.
