Description
Vintage Spode Christmas Tree Pomander Ball Ornament S3324 Made in England Potpourri Holder This is a vintage porcelain holiday collectible made in England and is a round, white ceramic sphere designed to hang on a tree or sit on a surface. It currently has potpourri inside and acts as a pomander, featuring small holes for releasing the scent and a plastic screw-in plug on the bottom to hold potpourri inside. It features the iconic Spode Christmas Tree pattern, which was originally designed in 1938 by Harold Holdway. Excellent pre-owned condition. The plastic plug on the bottom is intact and functions properly and the original red hanging ribbon is included and does not show any signs of fraying. There does not appear to be crazing, chips or cracks. The glaze looks to be perfectly smooth and glossy. From a clean, non-smoking home. Note: There is potpourri currently inside the ornament.
