Product Description:
The US-144MKII is a desktop-type USB 2.0 audio/MIDI interface compatible with 24bit/96kHz, featuring high-quality sound circuitry. It can be widely used for everything from multitrack music production to creating videos for internet streaming with stereo audio.

To ensure smooth transfer of large 24bit/96kHz audio data, it adopts the USB 2.0 standard, boasting a maximum data transfer rate of 480Mbit/s and a power supply capacity of 500mA. It provides 4 IN/4 OUT audio streams with your PC.

Equipped with two high-quality microphone preamplifiers that deliver excellent sound, achieving a high S/N ratio of 98dB (when passing through ADA). In addition to XLR terminals, it also features LINE inputs with TRS balance. Both inputs support high-impedance connections for instruments like guitars and basses, switchable via a top panel switch. Furthermore, it includes MIDI terminals for convenient connection to MIDI devices such as keyboards. It offers one RCA pin jack for output.

It also features S/P DIF COAXIAL digital input/output. This allows for digital connection without sound quality degradation to external devices with digital input/output, such as CD recorders and synthesizers. *Digital signals cannot be directly monitored on this unit.

A key feature is the inclusion of separate volume controls for LINE output (for speakers, etc.) and headphone output, allowing independent adjustment. This enables advanced monitoring, allowing you to use headphones and speakers simultaneously without needing to turn the speakers on/off.

The US-144MKII, along with other models like the US-122MKII and US-200, are part of TASCAM's US series of audio interfaces, offering a lineup from which you can choose the optimal model based on your required inputs/outputs and preferred design.
