Rare authentic pre-WWII Fred Harvey era coin silver ring featuring traditional hand-stamped Southwestern motifs. Center face displays the Native American Whirling Log symbol (traditionally representing healing, good luck, and the four directions prior to WWII). Interior hand-engraved with the initials E A S. Obtained by my great grandfather who loved to ride on trains. The transcontinental rail network went right through the heart of the American Southwest (like the Santa Fe Railroad line). At train depots across New Mexico, Arizona, and California, Native American artisans sold hand-stamped silver jewelry directly to passengers, workers, and travelers passing through on the trains.
