Up for sale is a vintage Sony HCD-HPX9 Compact Disc Deck Receiver main unit, being sold strictly FOR PARTS OR REPAIR AND AS IS. This listing includes the central console deck with its integrated AM loop antenna only; matching speakers and a remote control are not included. The unit powers on perfectly, the front digital display panel is bright and legible, and the radio tuner works cleanly. However, the top-loading 5-disc CD changer door mechanism is broken and will not open. The exterior housing is in great cosmetic shape with minimal surface wear.
