Vintage Singer Sewing Basket W/Handle Round Woven Wicker Green Satin Interior

Vintage round sewing basket with a sturdy woven handle.  Made exclusively for SINGER.  Green woven wicker accented with a decorative purple and green patterned band around the sides.  Padded floral top serves as a pin-cushion.  Beautiful green satin lined interior featuring pearl beaded tufting on the inside lid.  Handy pull-out plastic tray for organizing sewing supplies.  When lid is closed and handle down:  it measures 9.25” high, and 11.75” wide (at widest point where the handles are).  Marked made in Japan.  This was my mother’s basket I believe from the 1960s.  The basket has a slight lean to it. There is a crack in one of the vertical supports (see last photo). The plastic tray has a small crack up towards the rim 2nd to last photo). Otherwise, given its age, it’s in pretty good condition.  Fast shipper!   DMP
