■ Product Description
This set includes representative high-speed torpedo boats from the United States, Great Britain, and Germany that were active during World War II.
◉ US Navy: PT Boat
- Lightweight wooden hull (mahogany) powered by aircraft engines.
Primarily active on the Pacific front.
These fast boats were equipped with a large number of machine guns and automatic cannons in addition to torpedoes, used for hit-and-run attacks.
Famously, President Kennedy served as a PT boat commander.
◉ British Navy: Vosper MTB Type II
- A high-speed boat developed by the renowned British shipbuilding company Vosper. They were tasked with ambushing and attacking German transport convoys in areas like the English Channel.
◉ German Navy: S-Boat (Schnellboot)
- Unlike the wooden boats of other nations, these had a sturdy hull with a metal frame covered in wood, allowing for stable operation even in rough seas.
They were called E-boats by the Allies.
Equipped with diesel engines, they were resistant to fire and had a long cruising range, making them high-performance torpedo boats considered among the world's best at the time.

The set includes two versions (underway and at anchor) of each country's boat, for a total of 12 boats.
