Vintage English genuine leather stud box featuring the charming inscription A Stud in Hand Is Worth Two Under the Bed. Beautifully crafted small round leather box with hand-stitched detailing, hinged lid and rich cognac/brown leather finish. Interior is leather-lined. Marked REAL HIDE MADE IN ENGLAND with triangular E&W makers mark. A wonderful vintage gentlemans accessory originally intended for shirt studs, cufflinks or small personal items. Also makes a great jewelry, keepsake or trinket box.
