Vintage 1950s Bond St Jewel Case Jewelry Box Pink Velvet Mirror Key MCM

Beautiful mid-century jewelry box by Bond St. Jewel Case Corp., 350 Fifth Avenue, New York, dating to approximately the late 1950s–early 1960s.  Finished in an ivory/cream textured covering with delicate gold floral accents, the case opens to a wonderfully period pink satin and dusty-rose velvet interior. A cantilever-style upper organizer rises above the spacious divided lower compartment, while the lid features a distinctive diamond-shaped beveled mirror.  Even better, this example retains its key and original “A Bond St. Jewel Case” paper tag identifying the manufacturer and its Fifth Avenue address.  Approx. 10 × 7 × 3.25  Good vintage condition with age-related surface wear, scuffs and small marks to the exterior. Gold-tone hardware shows patina/tarnish consistent with age. Interior lining and velvet show age-related wear, fading, marks and areas of discoloration. Mirror has light surface wear but remains intact. Cantilever tray, hinges and clasp are intact, and the original key is included. Please review photos closely for condition.
