Description
Vintage Jewelry Folding Case Organizer ~ 1960s(?) ~ Josephs Des Moines, IA Great vintage folding - envelope style jewelry storage or travel case. Perfect for a few special items in your drawer or to tuck in your carry on when traveling. From Josephs Jewelers in Des Moines, IA (appears they are still in business). See examples with small tie scarf, jewelry and a necktie. Snaps will hold necklaces or bracelets in place, protective satin flaps. Could be a holder for sentimental bridal jewelry or to hold some inherited jewelry. Unfortunately, somewhere down the line a name was written then marked out (see photos). Perhaps it could come out or be covered by an embroidery pattern? Exterior feels like leather, but possibly a vinyl or other synthetic. NOTE: Posting is for the jewelry storage item only. Please ask if any questions. My home is smoke & pet free. Item has a very faint perfume odor.
