The orange mark identifies Burley & Co., Chicago, the upscale American china and glass retailer/importer for whom the piece was made. Burley operated under that retail name from 1883 until the business was sold in 1923. T&V green mark and red/orange bell-style decorating mark is associated with approximately 1892-1907.  c. 1900…  120-130 YEARS OLD!  Original Vintage Fine Art Porcelain Display / Cabinet Plate   Finished with Artist / Artisan Articulated,  DENSELY GILDED REAL GOLD … a process that would be time and cost prohibitive in today’s gold market prices.
