Description
Vintage HO scale (1:87) single-dome tank car decorated for ADM Corn Sweeteners, road number ADMX 15392, featuring the yellow sunflower ADM logo and 'Corn Syrup Only' placard. This model is attributed to Roundhouse (MDC) based on matching road number and tooling — Roundhouse released this tank car body in ADM Corn Sweeteners livery as kit #3248/#3251. This particular car has been factory-assembled/built (not a sealed kit) and shows light paint wear consistent with age and handling. Stenciling reads CAPY 201000 LB 91150 KG, LT WT 61700 LB 28000 KG NEW 9-84 (prototype build reference molded into the model, not the manufacture date of this piece), SPRINGS D5, SF 70CC COUPLERS. Mounted on metal wheelsets. No original box. Untested for rolling/coupling function — sold as a display/collector piece as-is. A fun addition for HO scale layouts, corn syrup/agricultural industry car collectors, or ADM railroad memorabilia collectors. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are considered part of the item's description and condition. All sales are final.
