Description
Beautiful vintage Quiltex baby crib comforter/blanket featuring an embroidered teddy bear with bow on ivory satin-look fabric and a gathered ruffle finished with decorative brown stitching. Original Downlon fiberfill tag remains attached and states it was made exclusively for The Quiltex Co. Comforter 33.5” x 42” Ruffle adds approx 2” all around Tag size 34” x 43” Top 100% nylon Back 100% polyester Polyester fiberfill Appears to have never been used and was stored in its original plastic bag with the cardboard insert still inside. Very clean overall. Has a light vintage/storage odor from age and long-term storage. Original packaging shows age/wear. A lovely nursery collectible, vintage baby photo prop or heirloom display piece. I’d date this approximately 1960s–early 1970s.
