Junk Janome Pompompurin Electronic Sewing Machine

This is a junk item.
Please read the description carefully before purchasing.

This is a Janome compact sewing machine that I recently acquired without confirming its working condition. I bought it as part of my collection of Hello Kitty sewing machines.
While the Pompompurin design is incredibly cute (and the print on the pulley's rear is also irresistibly adorable), it currently does not sew.

- It powers on.
- The needle moves up and down.
- When the pulley is turned by hand, the upper thread sometimes catches the lower thread.

However, for some reason, it does not sew!
The lower thread does not get tangled, but when attempting to sew, it fails to pick up the lower thread.
I removed the needle plate and adjusted the lower thread, but the condition remains unchanged.

The bobbin winder works.

The overall condition is relatively clean.
There are minor scratches as shown in image 3.
The print on the stitch dial is smudged in some areas, as seen in image 5.

The listing includes only the main unit shown in image 1 (no bobbins).
If needed, I can provide the power adapter and foot switch shown in image 8 for an additional 900 yen.
These are new compatible parts, not genuine Janome products. The cable is on the shorter side.
Please inquire if you also need bobbins or thread.

It is much more compact than it appears in photos, easily held with one hand and taking up little space.

It uses a foot switch, allowing you to use both hands while sewing.
There is no speed adjustment, but the speed is a comfortable pace, neither too fast nor too slow.

If you need the instruction manual, it can be downloaded from the Janome website. All Janome compact sewing machines have the same operating method.

If you are able to repair it yourself... given that it is a small and lightweight machine, it's best not to push it too hard.
It is not suitable for continuous long use or for sewing multiple layers of thick fabric.
I think it would be fun to keep it as a secondary sewing machine, placed on a corner of your table, for small craft projects using fabric scraps.
The sound it makes is surprisingly loud.

It does not come with its original box, so it will be shipped in a different cardboard box.
