The sound it makes when you step on the pedal is pleasant.
Purchased in the early Showa 40s (1965-1969).
Used daily for 35 years.
This is the sewing machine that has sewn kimonos.
I stopped using it 20 years ago, but
I believe it can still be used.
I used it heavily back then too.
P.S.
The rubber at the foot pedal has deteriorated.
I will send it via Tanomeru-bin (a delivery service) if someone can use it, as I believe the sewing machine would be happy.
A must-see for those who collect Showa-era antiques.
