Ozawa Style Modified Back Rig - 8 pieces

I used the original Ozawa style back rig, but by changing the shape of the hook, I found it became much easier to insert. Since it's a semi-slack hook, it's less likely to come out and I feel it's become easier to use.

If the hook on the back rig is too large, it will create a larger wound and cause significant damage to the baitfish.

I've chosen hooks that are sharp and easy to insert, and are of a size that doesn't put too much strain on the baitfish. The total length of the back rig is also set to a length that allows the baitfish to stabilize most effectively.

Most of my friends in the鮎釣りクラブ (Ayu fishing club) also like and use this back rig.

*The knot thread used as a marker can create unnecessary resistance, easily entangle debris, and halve the effectiveness of the back rig, leading to trouble. Therefore, it's finished simply with thread.

*Hooks are Daiwa's SaqSas.
(Made with high-strength super high carbon material, offering a 20% increase in penetration performance, so the sharpness lasts longer than other back rigs.)

*Thread is Gamakatsu Carbon.

I've tried various materials and am using good ones that I'm happy with.

The Ozawa Style Modified Back Rig is very useful as it helps the baitfish dive easily and makes them less likely to weaken.

I use it myself, and once you use it, you won't be able to go back to a normal rig.

Even those who don't usually use a back rig might find it helpful to have one on hand.
