Hokkaido Folk Craft Wood Carving Doll Koropokkuru
10.00 $
Description
This is a Koropokkuru, a traditional Ainu handicraft from Hokkaido.
It was purchased in Hokkaido and has been stored in my parents' closet for many years.
A bookmark was also stored with it, which indicates that it was made and sold by Mingei no Mise Rakan, Tadao Nishiyama.
It has never been displayed, but there are signs of age-related wear, such as scratches and scuffs. Please check the photos.
The neck and legs are movable.
Size:
12 x 10 x 7 cm
*Please only purchase if you understand that this item has been stored in a private home for many years.
